Art in the Park: Watercolor Landscapes

  • Shelby Park Community Center 401 South 20th Street Nashville, TN, 37206 United States (map)
Shelby Park Little Art House Foundation Marissa Nadler Watercolor Landscapes

Discover the beauty and versatility of watercolor as you create your own landscape painting. In this class, you’ll explore techniques for building texture, capturing light, and layering washes to bring depth and atmosphere to your work. We’ll also cover the essentials of color theory, composition, and expressive brushwork, helping you develop both confidence and creativity with the medium.

Photo references will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own—perhaps a favorite place or scene you’d love to capture in watercolor. Whether you’re new to painting or looking to refine your skills, this class offers a relaxing, inspiring introduction to the luminous world of watercolor.

This class is free and all materials are provided.

This program is a partnership between Shelby Park Community Center, Friends of Shelby, and Little Art House Foundation.
