Art in the Park: Macramé Plant Hanger

Macramé has been popular for centuries. It is a versatile form of textile art that uses knotting techniques to create beautiful, functional pieces. In this beginner-friendly course, you’ll learn how to make a plant hanger using simple, yet stunning knots and patterns. All materials are provided.

This class is FREE thanks to the generosity of Friends of Shelby members and all materials will be provided.

This program is a partnership between Shelby Park Community Center, Friends of Shelby, and Little Art House Foundation.

A Few Things to Know Before You Create With Us!

We want your experience at Art in the Park to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Here’s everything you need to know before you arrive!

Age: This class is open to participants ages 15 and older.

Class Size: We keep our classes cozy and limited to 15 students so we can give everyone the attention they deserve. Register ahead of time to guarantee your spot.

Walk-ins: Walk-ins are always welcome, though we recommend registering in advance so you don’t miss out.

Can’t Make It? No worries at all, email us at create@littlearthousefoundation.org, and we’ll take care of the rest. We appreciate the heads-up so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
